Makassar, Maros, Toraja
Arrive at Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport in Makassar. Afterwards, drive approximately 30 minutes to Rammang-Rammang Karst in the Maros Regency. Take a boat and explore the magnificent views of the 3rd largest karst forest in the world. Continue your trip to the north and lunch will be served at Restaurant near Pare-Pare, a small port situated 155 kms north of Makassar. Enjoy afternoon coffee or tea with spectacular view of Bambapuang Mountain before you arrive in Toraja. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Rantepao, Toraja.
Toraja Full-Day Tour
After breakfast at hotel. A full day exploring Toraja Land, A statue of Jesus Christ at Makale in Tana Toraja Regency. It is the tallest statue of Jesus Christ in the world - with its height at 40 metres. It stands on the top of Buntu Burake hill about 1.100 metres above sea level. Continue to visiting the cliff-side stone grave with wooden effigies on the balcony at Lemo, then continue to Londa to visit coffins hang from cracks in the rocky face. Lifelike wooden sculptures or effigies complete with clothes, stand in neat rows in cracks hollowed out in the cliff faces, very much like the windows & balconies of a house. Lunch will be served at local restaurant. After Lunch, visiting the traditional wooden carving village at Kete Kesu. Late afternoon back to hotel for your overnight stay and dinner.

Toraja, Tentena
After early breakfast at the hotel, check out and depart Toraja in the morning via Palopo, heading north toward Tentena. Stop at Palopo viewpoint for morning coffee and light breakfast while enjoying panoramic mountain scenery. Continue the journey through several small towns toward the border of Central Sulawesi. Along the way, enjoy scenic landscapes featuring rice fields, rivers, and daily local activities. After approximately three hours of driving, take a rest stop and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant en route. In the late afternoon, arrive in Tentena, passing through a unique Balinese village in Central Sulawesi, recognizable by its Hindu-style Balinese houses and temples. Upon arrival in Tentena, check in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight in Tentena.
Tentena – Bada Valley (Lore Lindu National Park)
After breakfast, depart Tentena for Bada Valley, approximately a 4-hour drive through the beautiful Lore Lindu National Park. The route offers dense rainforest scenery, remote villages, and mountain landscapes. Upon arrival in Bada Valley, check in at a simple local guesthouse or homestay. Lunch will be served locally. In the afternoon, visit the famous megalithic sites of Bada Valley, including Palindo, one of the largest and most mysterious stone statues in Sulawesi, believed to be thousands of years old. Continue exploring other ancient megaliths such as Langke Bulawa, Watumega, and stone vats, remnants of a prehistoric civilization whose origins remain unknown. Late afternoon return to the homestay. Dinner and overnight with simple local meals.
Bada Valley – Tentena
After breakfast, check out from the homestay and begin the return journey to Tentena via rugged mountain roads. En route, stop at Saluopa Waterfall, a beautiful multi-tiered waterfall surrounded by tropical forest — perfect for photos and short relaxation. Lunch will be served along the way. Continue driving to Tentena and upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Free program in the afternoon: relax by Lake Poso, explore the town, or enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Tentena, Palopo
After breakfast, check out and transfer to Palopo. The drive offers scenic coastal and mountain views, passing traditional villages and plantations. Lunch will be served en route. Upon arrival in Palopo, check in at the hotel. Free time in the afternoon to relax. Dinner and overnight in Palopo.
Palopo, Makassar
After breakfast, depart Palopo for Makassar. Enjoy the long but scenic drive through South Sulawesi’s countryside, with stops for refreshments and lunch along the way. Arrive in Makassar in the late afternoon or evening. Check in at the hotel. Dinner at local restaurant and overnight in Makassar.
Makassar - Departure
After breakfast, free time until transfer to Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport for your onward flight. End of tour.
