Bunaken & Lembeh — Coral Walls, Turtles & Macro Worlds

Arrive at Sam Ratulangi International Airport and transfer to your selected dive resort in the Bunaken area. Settle in and meet the dive team for an equipment check and briefing. Early arrivals may allow time for an optional check dive, subject to conditions and the team’s schedule.

Explore Bunaken’s reef walls and coral gardens, with opportunities to encounter turtles and schools of tropical fish. Your dive team selects sites according to currents, visibility and your experience. Between dives, rest aboard the boat or return to the resort.

Continue exploring sites around Bunaken, Siladen or neighbouring reefs, chosen for the day’s conditions. Coral gardens and dramatic reef walls offer different perspectives for underwater photography, with time between dives to enjoy the surrounding island scenery.

Complete two morning dives before travelling to Bitung by road, with boat connections arranged as needed for your resorts. Settle into your Lembeh accommodation and meet the local dive team for an introduction to the strait’s distinctive underwater habitats. An optional night dive may be arranged if timing and conditions allow.

Explore Lembeh’s volcanic sands with guides experienced in finding its smaller marine inhabitants. Look for frogfish, nudibranchs, pipefish, seahorses and octopus among the seabed’s subtle features. Sites are selected around conditions and your interests, with opportunities for careful observation and macro photography.

Spend another day exploring Lembeh’s marine life, with sites chosen around recent sightings, sea conditions and your photographic interests. The number and timing of dives are adjusted to your onward flight and the required interval before flying. An optional night dive is considered only if the flight schedule allows.

Transfer from your resort to Sam Ratulangi International Airport for your onward flight, with any boat connection coordinated around your departure. No diving is scheduled today, and your flight must allow the required interval after your final dive.

This journey is designed for certified recreational divers. Sites and daily dive schedules depend on sea conditions, certification and experience. Marine-life sightings cannot be guaranteed.
